My bet is on the whole thing ending in a stalemate with no borders changed but Ukraine ends up paradoxically closer to Russia, sort of like Iran-Iraq relations, while Europe collapses further into shambles because they refuse to believe they are fucking up by doubling down on liberal democratic norms
